FAQ for commissioned photography shoots
1. What kind of photography services do you provide?
In addition to landscapes, I take on portrait sessions and event coverage for organizations, businesses and public agencies. Events include community and civic gatherings, fairs, festivals, sports and other activities where people come together. Send me a message or reach out by phone at (425) 346-9784. 2. How many images will I receive?
The number of final images depends on the type of shoot and its length. Portrait sessions typically yield a curated set of finished photographs, while events, business and sports projects produce a larger volume of images to cover the full scope of activity. I focus on delivering strong, usable photographs rather than a preset quantity. If you have specific needs or expectations, we can discuss them in advance.
3. Where are you based?
I'm based in Central Oregon, but am happy to discuss traveling to help you tell your story.
4. What is your turnaround time?
Depending on the shoot and edits involved, I can usually turn your photos around in 3-5 business days. If needed sooner, please reach out and we can definitely discuss alternatives.
5. How do you handle image licensing and rights?
Image licensing depends on how the photographs will be used. Personal use (such as prints or sharing on social media with credit) is different from commercial use (such as marketing, advertising or branding). For commercial projects, I provide usage rights based on the scope of the project and the duration of use. Copyright for all photographs remains with me unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. How are photos delivered?
Final photographs are delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download and order prints. The gallery makes it easy to select favorites, share with others and request additional files. For commercial or editorial projects, images can also be delivered via direct download or shared drive based on the needs of the client.
